Alma Co-President and COO Isaac Mizrahi to Serve as Chair-Elect of AHAA
FAIRFAX, Va., July 21, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, AHAA: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing announced Isaac Mizrahi, Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of Alma, as its chair-elect. As chair elect, he will work closely with current chair Linda Lane Gonzalez, to lead the organization in developing and advancing AHAA's strategic plan. Prior to this election, Mizrahi served on the board of directors and other committees. Both Mizrahi and Gonzalez will work with the AHAA board of directors to build AHAA's thought leadership platforms, develop educational content and engage its members, partners and constituents.
"I am honored and privileged to be named chair-elect of an organization that is working to increase marketers' understanding about the impact Hispanics are having on marketing strategies and corporate growth," said Mizrahi. "We are at a critical time in our industry where specialist marketers must work together to change the way brands engage consumers and ensure we have right measurement systems that accurately reflect the power of the ethnic marketplace and its positive effect on ROI."
A marketing master and economist, Mizrahi has spent more than 20 years honing his award-winning skills on behalf of international brands such as Coca-Cola, Bellsouth International, and Sprint-Nextel, for which he was named U.S. Hispanic Marketer of the Year in 2006 by Ad Week's "Marketing y Medios." Mizrahi is proud to be a part of a dynamic team that has led Alma to numerous accolades, including most Lions won by a U.S. Hispanic agency at the 2016 Cannes International Festival of Creativity. In the past seven years, Alma has been on Advertising Age's A-List three times plus recognized twice by the publication as Multicultural Agency of the Year. It also holds the #1 spot on the Circulo Creativo Hispanic Agency ranking.
"Isaac is a tremendous leader and his record-breaking work has demonstrated the value of smart marketing to America's multicultural majority," said Gonzalez. "I look forward to working closely with him during this transformative period of our industry and taking AHAA to new heights!"
