Ally Bank launches new "People Sense" commercial
New TV advertisement showcases the Bank's Raise Your Rate CD
MIDVALE, Utah, May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ally Bank launched its newest TV commercial in its "people sense" advertising campaign, which is centered on doing what is right for your customer because people sense makes good business sense.
The new TV spot, titled "Grocery," highlights the flexibility of the Bank's Raise Your Rate CD, available in two- and four-year terms, which allows customers to raise the rate on their CD during the term, if rates increase. (Rates can be raised once on the two-year CD and twice on the four-year CD.) Offering no minimum deposit to open, no monthly maintenance fees, daily compounded interest and the Ally Ten Day Best Rate Guarantee, the Raise Your Rate CD is one of the Bank's most popular CD products.

The "people sense" campaign, which debuted in September 2011, features TV and radio commercials, as well as print and digital advertising.
"Ally Bank brand awareness has reached an all-time high throughout the duration of this campaign," said Sanjay Gupta, chief marketing officer of Ally Financial Inc. "With it, we continue to see the strongest brand linkage since the Bank's launch in 2009."
Ally Bank brand awareness is at 45 percent; a 35 percent increase since the first quarter of 2010.
The new TV commercials will begin airing on a variety of networks starting this morning.
