Allwell From Peach State Health Plan Available For 2018 Medicare Enrollment Period
ATLANTA, Oct. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Open enrollment is underway for those who are eligible for Medicare next year. For the first time, Peach State Health Plan is offering Medicare Advantage products, branded as Allwell from Peach State Health Plan. The new plan will be effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Allwell from Peach State Health Plan will provide plans and coverage for residents in 34 counties throughout Georgia. Allwell from Peach State Health Plan will offer Medicare Advantage products in five additional counties next year: Gwinnett, Clayton, Fayette, Henry and Rockdale.
Medicare is a government health insurance program for people age 65 or older. It may also cover certain younger people with disabilities, as well as those suffering from End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Medicare beneficiaries can compare and purchase a plan that will meet their healthcare and budget needs during the Open Enrollment period through Dec. 7, 2017. Allwell from Peach State Health Plan's products include a variety of benefits: including vision, dental, hearing, over-the counter medications and supplies at no cost to members and gym memberships.
