Allstate assisting customers impacted by Midwest tornadoes by opening Mobile Claims Centers

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Nov. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Allstate Insurance Company has set up three Mobile Claims Centers and one Catastrophe Response Vehicle to help policyholders in Illinois and Indiana following the tornadoes that swept across the Midwest.

Mobile Claim Centers are self-contained motor coaches that are equipped with generators, satellite technology and high-speed internet connectivity so Allstate's National Catastrophe Team can set up temporary claim locations and provide policyholders claim support in areas hardest hit by the severe weather. The Catastrophe Response Vehicle is smaller in scale and allows claim teams to canvass severely damaged neighborhoods, find customers and help them get the claim process started on the spot.
