NORTHBROOK, Ill., Nov. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Allstate Corporation (NYSE: ALL) today announced a quarterly dividend of 25 cents on each outstanding share of the corporation's common stock, payable in cash on January 2, 2014, to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 29, 2013.

"Allstate continues to provide shareholders with attractive cash returns through quarterly dividends and a share repurchase program which has reduced outstanding shares by 7.0% this year through November 15," said Thomas J. Series A Preferred Stock Dividend
The Allstate Corporation declared a dividend at an annual rate equal to 5.625% on the corporation's series A preferred stock for the dividend period from October 15, 2013 through January 14, 2014. Accordingly, holders will receive $0.3515625 per depositary share. This series A preferred stock dividend will be payable in cash on January 15, 2014, to stockholders of record at the close of business on December 31, 2013.
Series C Preferred Stock Dividend
The Allstate Corporation declared a dividend at an annual rate equal to 6.75% on the corporation's series C preferred stock for the dividend period from September 30, 2013 through January 14, 2014. Accordingly, holders will receive $0.4921875 per depositary share. This series C preferred stock dividend will be payable in cash on January 15, 2014, to stockholders of record at the close of business on December 31, 2013.
