Allstate Affinity Solutions Donates $25,000 to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation in Support of Sandy Wildlife Relief & the More Fish Campaign
Insurance company rebuilding communities and the environment
NORTHBROOK, Ill., Dec. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- When Sandy hit the East Coast in October, Allstate Insurance Company had claim personnel on the ground helping customers begin the claim process and start to rebuild their lives. Today, Allstate Affinity Solutions is giving back in a different way and donating $25,000 to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF). The funds are being donated in support of the NFWF's Sandy Recovery Fund and the More Fish Campaign.
The NFWF launched the Sandy Recovery Fund to access the ecological and environment impact from Sandy and start projects to rebuild key fish and wildlife populations. Allstate has donated $15,000 to the project. The More Fish Campaign is a five-year initiative launched by the NFWF to raise awareness and funding to protect, conserve and enhance the nation's fish populations and their habitat countrywide. Allstate has contributed $10,000 to that worthy cause.
"Allstate proudly supports a wide range of projects and organizations that have made a genuine difference in communities across the country," said James Rosseau, president of Allstate Affinity Solutions. "We are pleased to build on that legacy by supporting the valuable work of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation."
The idea to lend a helping hand to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation came about because of Allstate's affinity relationship with Bass Pro Shops. The More Fish Campaign is one of Bass Pro Shops' signature causes. Allstate Affinity Solutions teamed up with Bass Pro Shops and in the states permissible initiated an in-store "Quotes for Conservation" campaign between September 30 and November 2, 2012. During that time, Allstate donated $10 to the More Fish Campaign for each customer that received an insurance quote and mentioned Quotes for Conservation.
Allstate Affinity Solutions added the donations from the More Fish Campaign to the Sandy Recovery Fund program, giving a total $25,000 to the National Fish and Wildlife organization.
