CHICAGO, Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Survey results from research company Black Book Rankings (Black Book) has established Allscripts (NASDAQ: MDRX) ambulatory electronic health records (EHRs) as leaders in the ambulatory EHR market, with top survey scores across all performance areas, from customization to service and support.
Most notably, Allscripts TouchWorks® EHR earned the 2014 Top Ambulatory EHR Vendor ranking for the Independent Practice Associations (IPAs) and Multi-Specialty Practices categories. Additional Black Book research indicated that Allscripts TouchWorks EHR scored better than 90% of EHRs in 17 out of 18 key performance indicators, with a 10% year-over-year improvement in collective client experience and client satisfaction scores from the third quarter of 2013 to July 2014.
