New facility adds to the local Colorado economy through construction and job creation

CENTENNIAL, Colo., Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AlloSource, one of the nation's largest non-profit providers of skin, bone and soft tissue allografts for use in surgical procedures and the world's largest processor of cellular bone allografts, today celebrated the opening of its new headquarter campus in Centennial, Colorado.

In a challenging economy, AlloSource continues to expand and support the Colorado community through responsible growth. In 2011, AlloSource grew its staff by more than 10 percent. To better compensate its growing workforce, AlloSource broke ground on a 90,000 square-foot building addition in May, 2011, nearly doubling the size of its headquarter campus and allowing for remote Denver-based offices to be consolidated under one roof.

"Our new building allows us to streamline processes by housing all departments under one roof. AlloSource provides employment for more than 370 people in Colorado and more than 30 positions at satellite offices around the United States. Since 2010, AlloSource has added 77 positions in Colorado and at their locations across the country. The AlloSource workforce continues to grow, allowing the company to create jobs and improve patient care.

The construction of the new headquarters employed more than 500 local skilled workers, was designed by Intergroup Architects and built by The Weitz Company. In total, close to $20 million was injected into the local economy as a result of the project.
