AlloSource Named One of Denver's Healthiest Employers
CENTENNIAL, Colo., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AlloSource, (www.allosource.org) a leading developer, processor and distributor of bone and soft-tissue allografts for use in surgical procedures around the world, is among Metro Denver's Healthiest Employers, as judged by the Denver Business Journal's inaugural awards program. With concerns about health care reform, rising insurance costs and diminishing employee benefits, the Denver Business Journal sought to find the metro-area employers who were truly focused on their workers' wellness.
"At AlloSource, we make it an ongoing priority to foster and reward our staff by providing access to tools and resources to improve their health and wellness," said Thomas Cycyota, AlloSource President and CEO. "People are the power behind any successful organization and we are fortunate to draw energy from a diverse and talented team. We are excited that our hard work to promote a healthy workplace has paid off with recognition from the Denver Business Journal, but more importantly, through the improved wellness of our staff."

Partnered with Healthiest Employer LLC, an Indiana company, the Denver Business Journal conducted a two-part selection process. First, readers were encouraged to nominate companies worthy of recognition. Second, nominated companies had to complete a survey that was scored and ranked. The top-ranking companies in four categories were announced September 20 at an awards luncheon held at Sheraton Downtown Denver hotel. AlloSource ranked third in the Large Companies category.
