CENTENNIAL, Colo., Dec. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AlloSource®, one of the nation's largest providers of cartilage, cellular, bone, skin and soft-tissue allografts for use in surgical procedures and wound care to advance patient healing, has been awarded the prestigious Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence (RMPEx) Peak Performance Award. The award is the highest level awarded by RMPEx and recognizes an organization with the expertise to apply for the National Baldridge Award. Since the RMPEx program was established in 2000, only eight companies have received the top honor.
The Peak Award is presented to applicants demonstrating role-model results, systematic and mature approaches, effective deployment, process learning and process integration. In addition to providing a written application to RMPEx, AlloSource staff members from all departments participated in a site visit with the RMPEx examiner team.
"Working towards this milestone has been an invaluable experience because it helped AlloSource achieve a new level of growth and success through our business system improvements," said Thomas Cycyota, president and CEO of AlloSource. "Receiving this designation is an incredible honor and we look forward to the next challenge of the national Baldridge program."
RMPEx is dedicated to helping organizations improve performance and achieve results. The awards program recognizes companies across varied industries in Colorado, Montana and Wyoming for performance excellence achievements.
