Allison Transmission Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering and Exercise in Full of Option to Purchase Additional Shares
INDIANAPOLIS, March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ALSN) announced today the closing of its previously announced initial public offering of 26,100,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $23.00 per share. In connection with the initial public offering, the underwriters exercised in full their option to purchase an additional 3,915,000 shares of common stock from the selling stockholders. As a result, the total initial public offering size was 30,015,000 shares.
