Allied World U.S. Announces Nicole Baummer and Ed Moresco to Speak at EPLI ExecuSummit

PEMBROKE, Bermuda, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd (NYSE: AWH) announced today that Nicole Baummer, Assistant Vice President, Professional Liability Claims, and Ed Moresco, Vice President, Private & Not-for-Profit Management Liability, for Allied World U.S. are speaking at the 5th Annual National Employment Practices Liability Insurance ExecuSummit. The event takes place on September 21 and 22, 2010, in Uncasville, CT at the Mohegan Sun Casino Resort & Convention Center. Ms. Baummer will speak on the panel, "So, You Want to Get Kicked Off the Panel?  A Practical Guide to Working with Insurance Companies." Mr. Moresco will speak as part of the panel, "Underwriting EPLI in a Difficult Economic Climate."

Ms. Baummer manages the company's high severity employment practices liability (EPL) and governmental liability claims. Additionally, she serves as the Claims Department's EPL and governmental liability product development liaison and new hire training, continuing education, and panel counsel coordinator.  Before joining Allied World, Ms. Baummer was a senior claims officer at Chubb Specialty Insurance.  She earned her B.A. from the University of Connecticut and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as managing editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.  She is a member of the bar in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York.

Mr. Moresco manages the Private and Not-for-Profit management liability underwriting unit. Prior to joining Allied World in December of 2008, he was most recently Senior Vice President for Financial Lines at AIG Small Business. Additionally, he worked at National Union for over 11 years. He received his undergraduate degree from York College of Pennsylvania.
