Allied Specialty Vehicles Appoints President of Oil and Gas Group

ORLANDO, Fla., July 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV), a $1 billion revenue, privately held company comprised of industry leading brands in the fire & emergency, recreation and commercial specialty vehicle segments, appointed Don Kyle as the president of its Oil & Gas Group.

Kyle comes to ASV with a diverse background in the specialty vehicle market as well as the oil and gas industry. Most recently, Kyle served as the Chief Executive Officer for DynaPump, Inc., a company which used proprietary technology to manufacture, sell and service artificial lift systems for the oil and gas industry. Kyle spent four years at Stewart & Stevenson, LLC, an oilfield equipment manufacturer and distributor, as both president of the Power Products Division and senior vice president of the company. During his time with Stewart & Stevenson, Kyle successfully led a turnaround of the business which resulted in the business's growth and increased profitability. Prior to his career with Stewart & Stevenson, Kyle served as the general manager for Cummins Southern Plains, general manager for Tar Heel Sterling & Western Star Trucks, vice president of sales and marketing for Cummins Southern Plains, and director of North American aftermarket sales for Fleetguard, Inc.
