Allianz Global Assistance Wins Seven Stevie® Awards for Sales and Customer Service
RICHMOND, Va., Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Allianz Global Assistance USA, a leading consumer specialty insurance company, announced it has been awarded seven Stevie® Awards, including five for customer service excellence. Deloress Wellman, VP of Operations Delivery, was honored as a Woman of the Year in Customer Service with a Silver trophy at the 13th Annual Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service.
A 13-year veteran at Allianz Partners, Wellman led the implementation of six new initiatives in the past year, including claims notifications, chat functionality, and automation, which enhanced customer service effectiveness while increasing efficiencies and cutting operational costs. Colleagues say her drive and passion energizes her front-line team while empowering them to develop real-time solutions for customer issues. Due in part to Wellman's leadership, the company has won nine Stevie awards for customer service since 2015.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world's top honors for customer service, contact center, business development and sales professionals. Allianz Global Assistance was awarded two Silver trophies for Contact Center of the Year in financial services and Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year in the financial services industry. Allianz Global Assistance' sales department was recognized as a National Sales Team of the Year and for Sales Growth Achievement of the Year, with two Bronze awards. The awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Friday, February 22 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV. More than 700 executives from the U.S.A. and several other nations attended.
