In her new role, she will lead business development strategies to support Allen's rapid growth. Funkhouser's background in marketing, business development and technology positions her to maximize Allen's value to patients, healthcare providers and the healthcare industry as a whole.
Funkhouser has devoted her career to helping hundreds of health systems improve patient care and clinical efficiencies through strategic use of technologies. Her three decades of healthcare industry experience include roles as national director of the healthcare solutions practice for PCM, Inc. and senior global director for healthcare IT solutions for Motorola Solutions, Inc., where she developed partner strategies and launched multiple nursing mobility products. Previous experience includes product marketing and business development roles with global Fortune 500 firms, including McKesson Provider Technologies, Bard and the former Schering-Plough.
