Allegheny County Woman Wins $100,000 from PA Lottery
ELIZABETH, Pa., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Beverly Dobbins of Boston, Allegheny County, won $100,000 from the Pennsylvania Lottery's Million Dollar Cash Fever instant game.
Lottery Area Manager Terri Hopkins today presented a ceremonial check to Dobbins at Giant Eagle in Elizabeth, where the ticket was purchased. The store receives a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Dobbins, who moved to Pennsylvania from Ohio, said she is a fan of Pennsylvania Lottery games, particularly Powerball® and instant games. This is her first Pennsylvania Lottery win.
"What I'd like to do is pay off my car and my bills and then invest the rest," said Dobbins, who is happy this Lottery win will allow her to live a little more comfortably.
Million Dollar Cash Fever is a $20 instant game. Introduced in June 2010, the game offers top prizes of $1 million and more than 100 prizes from $10,000 to $100,000. Two of the game's three $1 million top prizes and six $100,000 prizes remain unclaimed. The odds of winning a $100,000 prize in Million Dollar Cash Fever are 1-in-240,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1-in-3.24.
