Alleghany Corporation To Host Investor Day On November 22, 2013

NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alleghany Corporation (NYSE-Y) announced today that it will host an Investor Day in New York City on Friday, November 22, from 10:30 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. EST.  President and chief executive officer Weston M. Hicks, and Senior Vice President and chief financial officer Jack Sennott will be joined by senior management of Alleghany and its operating companies.  Presentations will cover corporate and operating company strategies, growth initiatives and financials.
