Allegations Predate Gilbane Ownership of W.G. Mills Inc.

SARASOTA, Fla., March 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In December 2010 Gilbane Building Company purchased W.G. Mills Inc. of Sarasota Florida. The United States Department of Justice has alleged that earlier that year, Mills violated federal regulations governing construction contracts for service disabled veteran owned businesses. The allegations made by the United States Government involving Mills relate to a time period before Gilbane purchased Mills. Gilbane's only involvement in this matter is due to its purchase of the company, and there was no finding of wrong doing on Gilbane's part.
