Allan Weinstein Joins CAI as Managing Partner
NEW YORK, Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CAI Private Equity ("CAI"), a leading private equity investment firm with a North American investment mandate, is pleased to announce the appointment of Allan Weinstein as a Managing Partner. Mr. Weinstein will lead the firm's United States investment effort, which is focused on energy and utility services, business and financial services, specialty/niche manufacturing, aerospace and healthcare. He will be based in CAI's New York office.

With nearly 18 years of experience in private equity investing, Mr. Weinstein most recently served as Managing Director at Lincolnshire Management, Inc., a leading middle market private equity firm. Allan led investment transactions with favorable returns and held board positions in portfolio companies: Allison Marine Holdings, Phoenix Brands, Inc. Wabash National Corporation, Bankruptcy Management Solutions, Inc.; Prince Sports, Inc. and Riddell Sports, Inc; among others. During this time, Allan also served as interim, full-time CFO during the dramatic turnaround of Credentials Services International, Inc. – a Lincolnshire portfolio company. Prior to Lincolnshire, Allan was a Senior Credit Analyst for Fleet Bank.
