All-New National Student Day Contest Opens Today
OBERLIN, Ohio, Sept. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- National Student Day launches a brand-new photo-sharing contest Sept. 25 – Oct. 24 that gives students the opportunity to win in a $1,000 cash prize and a $1,000 donation to the 501(c)(3) charity of their choice.
Sponsored by the National Association of College Stores (NACS), National Student Day, which will take place in campus stores across North America Oct. 9, is a day for celebrating and promoting students' social responsibility.
The contest also encourages students to get involved. High school and college students can enter the contest by simply posting a "selfie" doing volunteer work or a random act of kindness to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #NSDvolunteer.
Three random winners will be announced in early November.
