Aliansce Shopping Centers announces senior leadership succession plan of Leandro Lopes to become COO, succeeding Delcio Lage Mendes, who will remain Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors

RIO DE JANEIRO, July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Aliansce Shopping Centers S.A. (B3: ALSC3) announced today that it is concluding the succession process of its Chief Operating Officer ("COO"), Delcio Lage Mendes, with shopping center veteran Leandro Lopes joining the Company. Lopes is expected to be confirmed to the role in the second half of 2017. Mendes will continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Since the end of last year, the Company has worked to identify a professional with the leadership profile and technical competence necessary to succeed Mendes. The succession process will be gradual and is expected to be concluded in the second semester.

Lopes has worked in the shopping mall sector in Brazil over the last ten years with significant experience in commercial, operational and financial divisions of the industry. He joined the shopping center industry in 2007 as a Director of Regional Operations for BRMalls, where he successively expanded his responsibilities until becoming CFO in 2012. He also held important roles in other leading shopping mall companies and projects in Brazil. His expertise will ensure the continuity of the successful and dynamic trajectory of Aliansce's operations.
