SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., Dec. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sovereign Health, a leading national provider of behavioral health treatment services, has named Ali S. Zadeh, M.D., M.P.P., as the new Executive Director of Acute Care. Dr. Zadeh's responsibilities are diverse but include developing and licensing psychiatric acute care facilities for Sovereign across the United States.
Prior to his time at Sovereign Health, Dr. Zadeh was the Chief Executive Officer at Kindred Hospital Cleveland Gateway, where he managed a 75-licensed-bed, acute-care hospital. He has a proven track record of managing revenue cycles and improving operating costs, and is proud to bring his skills to Sovereign Health.
"I chose a nonclinical career because of my interest in business management. Bringing a clinical perspective as a physician to health care leadership is what drew me to this industry," says Dr. Zadeh. "I've been in health care leadership for over 10 years, and my experiences and skills will help Sovereign Health excel to new heights."
Sovereign Health operates nine treatment facilities in five states: California, Arizona, Florida, Texas and Utah. The facilities are fully licensed and have been awarded Gold Seal accreditation by The Joint Commission, the highest level of accreditation available in the behavioral health field.
