CHICAGO, March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Individuals and organizations nationwide are coming together to promote ladder safety and decrease the number of ladder-related incidents through the American Ladder Institute's third annual National Ladder Safety Month. Now through March 31, the initiative will heighten awareness, reinforce ladder safety training and educate homeowners and working professionals. ALI's Top Cap sponsor, Ace Hardware, is proud to support this initiative and pledge their commitment to safety.
"At Ace, customer education and safety is a priority and we are proud to be a sponsor of National Ladder Safety Month," said Brian Keilman, Associate Merchant, Paint Decorating at Ace Hardware Corporation. "As the 'Helpful Place,' our goal is always to offer the widest selection of durable ladder products to help customers get their job done right."
Five Key Themes
Last week, National Ladder Safety Month focused on answering the question, what is ladder safety? The remaining themes are:
- March 3 - 9: Ladder Safety Training and Year-Round Partners
- March 10 - 16: Ladder Safety at Work
- March 17 - 23: Ladder Safety at Home
- March 24 - 31: Ladder Inspection and Disposal
How to Participate

- Access free safety materials—checklists, videos, infographics and flyers
- Use the official marketing guide and #LadderSafetyMonth on social media to spread the word
- Share how you're participating by emailing ALI Headquarters so ALI can feature you on its Participation Map.
- Sign up for ALI's free Ladder Safety Certification program—individuals participate in video training on the selection, safe use and care of the most frequently used ladders
