ALI CLE Brings Advanced Exempt Organizations Course to Washington, D.C.
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education is pleased to announce Tax Exempt Organizations: An Advanced Course. This cutting edge CLE will be held November 13 – 14, 2014, in Washington, D.C.
James Joseph of Arnold & Porter is the new planning chair for the program. Joseph adds excellence to the annual offering and brings new topics, such as:
- What's happening at the IRS, on the Hill and in courthouses,
- Internal investigations, and
- Philanthropic advisors.
"This is an advanced level program intended to enhance awareness and understanding of current significant developments, and complex questions that we face in practices. The program has something for everyone," said Joseph. ALI CLE is nationally recognized for its excellence in educational programs for attorneys and those working within the legal system.
The content of the program has been dramatically revised this year, but the faculty, the materials, and the experience are the excellent quality you expect from ALI CLE. If you have attended this course in the past, it is time to participate again and if you've never attended, this is the year to start! Experienced private practitioners, in-house counsel, government officials, and others who work with section 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations will gain practical, working knowledge of exempt organizations.
Networking opportunities abound this year as registrants may take advantage of two lunches to speak with faculty and fellow registrants. The in-house counsel roundtable with Bruce Adams from In-Q-Tel, Lauren Bright from the Gates Foundation and Beth Nolan from George Washington University will be a Friday afternoon highlight.
