Alhambra Heights Challenger School to Host Back-to-School Celebration
MIAMI, Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Alhambra Heights Challenger School will host a back-to-school celebration featuring North Miami elected officials from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19.
Join students, educators, and community members at NE 135th Street for music, rides, and student performances as Alhambra Heights Challenger School celebrates its new location and registers students. The event is sponsored by local elected officials and will feature remarks by Councilwoman Carol Keys, Councilman Scott Gavin, and Police Chief Larry Juriga.
This event is planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
"We will be celebrating National School Choice Week by sharing information with the community about our new location and giving families the opportunity to register at our school of choice," said Beverly Hilton, principal at Alhambra Heights Challenger School.
Alhambra Heights Challenger School is a private school serving students in grades K-8 and offering academic tutoring.
As a nonpartisan, nonpolitical public awareness effort, National School Choice Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for students, families, and communities around the country.
