Alfa Romeo Dealership Opens In Morris County
Joins Celebrity Motor Car Company Luxury Brands
FAR HILLS, N.J., Jan. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Tom Maoli, CEO/Dealer Principal of the Celebrity Motor Car Company, has announced the January 10, 2017 opening of his newest dealership on Route 10 in Whippany -- Alfa Romeo of Morris County. The new franchise joins Maserati of Morris County, BMW of Springfield and Lexus of Route 10, and SAAB service center as the newest addition to Celebrity Motor Company luxury car lines.
Maoli says the move further enhances Celebrity Motor Company reputation for offering the some of the world's finest luxury brands and the best service in the industry to the residents of Morris Counties. "I'm thrilled I can now offer customers something as exciting as the new Alfa Romeo experience."
The 106-year-old Italian luxury car maker, Alfa Romeo, has earned a reputation as one of the most desirable cars ever designed. It began selling cars into the United States in the mid-1950s, but, due to flagging sales, the company ceased exporting cars to the United States in 1995. However, under the aegis of new owner, Fiat Chrysler, which purchased the car company in 1986, the Alfa Romeo was reintroduced into the Unites States in 2008.
Maoli believes the new 2017 Alfa Romeo Spider 4c Coupe and Spider represent the automaker's renewed commitment to unmatched design and engineering excellence. "The Spider is a true 21st century automobile, both in its looks and performance."
This year, car maker is adding the Giulia, the Giulia Quadrifoglio, and the all new Stelvio SUV, which made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new models should hit the showroom floors during the first quarter of 2017.
"Italy is recognized as being a worldwide trendsetter and leader in design including fashion, interior design, architecture and food. How great is it to be able to sell Italian cars when you're Italian," says Maoli.
After a career in a number of industries, Maoli's first foray in the automotive retailing came in 2011 when he purchased Lexus of Route 10 from what was formally the Warnock Auto Group. He turned a failing Warnock group into a business success. Building on that achievement, in 2014, Maserati of Morris County was established. This continued the company's thriving expansion and support of luxury brands. Maoli then purchased the former JMK BMW, SAAB and Fiat in 2015, applying the same business principals to his new BMW of Springfield on Route 22 in Springfield New Jersey.
Maoli teases about the future of his growing automotive empire. "Stay tuned as there are more luxury brands to become a part of Celebrity Motor Company in the near future."
