Alerian Announces Tesoro Logistics Added To The Alerian MLP Index

DALLAS, March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Alerian announced that following the close of business on Friday, March 15, Tesoro Logistics Partners (NYSE: TLLP) will be added to the Alerian MLP Index (NYSE: AMZ).

Tesoro Logistics owns, operates, develops, and acquires crude oil and refined products logistics assets.

Pioneer Southwest Energy Partners LP (NYSE: PSE) will be removed from the index following the close of business on March 15. In addition, the 50 constituents of the index will be rebalanced on a float-adjusted, capitalization-weighted basis in accordance with the existing index methodology. Constituent additions to and deletions from the index do not reflect an opinion by Alerian on the investment merits of the respective securities.
