Aleksandr Yampolskiy Joins Cinchcast as CTO

NEW YORK, Oct. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cinchcast Inc., a company that provides solutions for businesses and consumers to create, share, measure and monetize audio content, today announced that Dr. Aleksandr Yampolskiy has been appointed CTO. In this role, he will oversee the continued development of Cinchcast's world-class audio publishing and management platform.

Prior to joining Cinchcast, Alex was Head of Security and Compliance at Gilt Groupe companies, responsible for all aspects of IT infrastructure security, secure application development, and PCI compliance.  A published author and frequent speaker, Alex has also spent time at Goldman Sachs, Oracle, and Microsoft as a lead technologist building large-scale enterprise software focused on identity management, single sign-on, authentication and authorization. He has a B.A. in Mathematics/Computer Science from New York University, and a Ph.D. in Cryptography from Yale University.
