Alejandro De Gyves Named CEO of ActionCOACH
ActionCOACH has named four new CEOs to direct the world's number one business coaching firm: Alejandro De Gyves, Vic Ciuffetelli, David Holland and Jodie Shaw.
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- After serving the ActionCOACH community as a Master Licensee in Mexico for several years, Alejandro De Gyves took over the Latin America territories. More recently, however, he has been named one of four new CEOs of ActionCOACH.
When it came time for CEO promotions, De Gyves was a natural choice. Throughout his career, he has been constantly exploring how effective businesses can become with guidance and coaching. Not only is he an experienced Business Coach and Master Licensee, he also has a long trajectory in corporate life. He has years of experience, particularly in the areas of process engineering, plant operation and technology commercialization.
After working for 25 years for one of the largest industrial groups in Mexico, and managing projects in various countries such as India, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, Germany, Brazil and Venezuela, he has had the opportunity to interact with a variety of firms and multicultural work styles. He also has experience in both technical areas (design, start-up and operation of industrial plants) and administrative areas (project, operation and commercial management). He has worked with national and global companies such as Ferrostaal, Kawasaki Steel, Technit and Davy, and led high-impact projects with maximum personnel involvement.
"These experiences have led me to comprehend and apply the general principles of human and organizational development and adapt the knowledge and strategies to the needs of every specific business," he said.
De Gyves joined ActionCOACH in 2000 with his vision for a better Mexico, and started his Master Licensee business early 2001. "Since joining ActionCOACH, I've had the opportunity to work with business owners, and have helped them regain the passion for excellence in their business," he said.
He won the Master Franchise award in 2002 and again in 2006. In 2009, he expanded his ActionCOACH territories to include all of Latin America. Just a few months later, De Gyves recruited coaches in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela and Costa Rica.
"My goal is to make every business, mine and my clients', a constant wealth generator and community support, just as ActionCOACH suggests and practices," he said.
He said he is honored to be named a CEO of ActionCOACH, along with Jodie Shaw, former Director of Franchise Sales and Director of Marketing; Vic Ciuffetelli, former Master Licensee of South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland; and David Holland, the former COO and Director of Training.
