ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday October 23 at 11 a.m., Deepak Shah will open the first Dickey's Barbecue Pit location in Albuquerque with a three day grand opening. Shah, the former chief financial officer of Southwest Cheese Company, is ready for the new challenge. The first location in New Mexico opened in Hobbs last week with the highest grand opening sales in Dickey's Barbecue history.

On Saturday, radio station 103.3 ED FM is onsite from noon to 2 p.m. and this location is serving $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. During the event, one lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners receive free barbecue for an entire year.
