Albuquerque Business Owners Receive Top Sustainability Training Through Green Builds Business Program

WASHINGTON, March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following is being released by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce:

What: United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation Green Builds Business Program
Green Builds Business, underwritten by Walmart, is a signature program of the USHCC Foundation. The program in Albuquerque will host 20 businesses for a two-day training session that encourages business owners across the country to incorporate sustainability measures into their overall business plans by teaching best practices for lowering operating costs, increasing revenues and motivating workers with green initiatives.

Following the program, at least one business will be selected to receive up to 24 hours of one-on-one green coaching with sustainability expert Bill Roth, Founder of Earth 2017, to formulate a green business plan or implement a green project that holds the potential of creating jobs, growing profits and reducing emissions this year.
