Albeo Features Expanded Options for LED H-Series High Bay Lighting Fixture at LightFair International 2012 in Las Vegas

BOULDER, Colo., May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Expanded options for the H-Series High Bay LED fixture from Albeo Technologies are being featured at Lightfair International 2012 in Las Vegas, May 9-11 (Booth # 1009).  The H-Series high bay fixture, from the leading industrial and commercial solid-state lighting manufacturer, has won multiple awards since its introduction in the fall of 2011.  The H-Series, acclaimed for its modular design and innovative optics, thermal management and control system, now features new options such as Very High Output, a waterproof enclosure, glare shield and pendent mount.

Overview of New High Bay Options

High Output & Very High Output
The main modular feature of the H-Series platform is its individual LED light bars.  An H-Series fixture can consist of one bar or as many as 12 bars, depending on the lighting needs and application.  These output options gives customers the ability to increase the lumen range of one fixture, eliminating the need for multiple fixtures in high light level applications.

The H-Series standard option provides light bars with 6,000 lumen output.  The new High Output (HO) configuration provides up to 8,000 lumens per bar, while the Very High Output (VHO) light bars produce up to 10,000 lumens, or the equivalent to four T8 bulbs.  The total lumen range for the H-Series is from 5,840 - 82,893 lumens.

Waterproof IP66
The IP66 waterproof option seals the fixture from dust and high pressure water jets for more demanding applications. 

Glare Shield
The new glare shield option for the H-Series eliminates direct view of the LEDs to create a light that is comfortable to view without sacrificing efficiency or performance.  It is ideal for high light level work areas such as warehouse and production facilities.

Pendent Mount
The easy to install pendent mount option allows H-Series fixtures to be hung in facilities with large ceilings at exactly the right height for maximum and targeted illumination of the room.

347 & 480 Volt Input

The new 347V and 480V options expand the building applications of the H-Series.  The 347V opens up many Canadian buildings for installations, while the 480 input voltage expands the H-Series solution to retrofitting older buildings.

Wireless Demonstration

Also at the Lightfair International, Albeo Technologies will demonstrate the wireless control features the H-Series using a Zigbee Smart Energy control system.  The use of such wireless control systems allows Albeo customers to easily monitor, adjust, and automate their LED fixtures to maximize energy savings.  The H-Series is compatible with both wired and wireless control systems, and multiple control platforms including those from Daintree Networks.
