Albemarle to increase the price of ETHANOX 4703 antioxidant

BATON ROUGE, La., March 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB), a leading developer and manufacturer of antioxidants for lubricants, petroleum and biodiesel fuels, announced today that it will increase the price of ETHANOX® 4703 on all shipments globally by $0.95/kg effective immediately, or as contracts allow.

ETHANOX antioxidants enhance the stability, improve the performance and extend the storage life of lubricants and fuels used worldwide. The Company is also a leading supplier of polymer antioxidants. Albemarle's antioxidants business is part of the Polymer Solutions business segment.
