Albany Law School to Hold Symposium on New York State Fracking

ALBANY, N.Y., Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Experts in fracking, land use and the law will convene for "Fractured Communities: Hydraulic Fracturing and the Law in New York State" at Albany Law School on Sept. 24, 2013.

In the first panel at 11:00 a.m., four hydraulic fracturing experts will discuss climate impacts, land use and real estate issues, and economic impacts associated with natural gas drilling. Speakers include:

• Elizabeth Burleson, Pace Law Professor and Fulbright Senior Specialist on Climate Change
