Alaska Airlines Welcomes Kenmore Air as Mileage Plan Partner
SEATTLE, March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Customers will find island-hopping in the Pacific Northwest to be a breeze with a new frequent-flier and ticketing partnership between Alaska Airlines and Kenmore Air. The agreement will allow customers to earn and redeem Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles and book tickets seamlessly to any of 28 island and peninsula destinations in Washington and British Columbia that Kenmore Air serves from Seattle.
"This partnership provides our Mileage Plan members with travel options to some of Washington and British Columbia's most scenic coastal destinations," said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines' vice president of marketing. "With daily and seasonal service to the San Juan Islands, the Olympic Peninsula and British Columbia's Inside Passage, our customers will enjoy Kenmore Air's great service and convenient connections with our Seattle flights."
Mileage Plan members will earn 250 miles for each Kenmore Air flight starting April 15 and can redeem miles for award travel beginning in June 2010. To celebrate the partnership, Mileage Plan members are eligible to earn Double Miles when they fly on Kenmore Air between April 15 and May 31, 2010. To qualify, customers must first register at alaskaair.com beginning April 1.
Mileage Plan members can claim one roundtrip award ticket on Kenmore Air between Seattle and any Washington destination or Victoria, British Columbia, for 10,000 miles, or use 15,000 miles for award travel between Seattle and any other Kenmore Air destination in British Columbia.
