SEATTLE, Aug. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Alaska Airlines launched a sale today offering low fares throughout the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), Canada and Mexico. One-way fares start at $59* between Reno, Nevada, and San Jose, Calif., and $89* between Portland, Ore., and Burbank, Calif.

Tickets require a 14-day advance purchase and must be bought by Aug. 27 for travel starting Sept. 5, except from Alaska where travel begins Sept. 25 and between California and Orlando, Fla., where travel begins Oct. 11. Travel must be completed by Oct. 19 to/from Mexico, by Oct. 31 to/from Hawaii and by Dec. 12, 2012, to/from all other markets.
