Alaska Airlines Names New Managing Director of Loyalty
SEATTLE, Sept. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan Butz has joined Alaska Airlines as managing director of loyalty, overseeing Mileage Plan, Alaska Airlines Credit Card program and customer communications.
"Ryan comes with extensive customer relationship management experience from Verizon, T-Mobile and Microsoft. He's a strong leader and is very passionate about the customer and delivering results," said Sangita Woerner, Alaska Airlines vice president of marketing.
Prior to joining Alaska Airlines, Butz was a director of product marketing at Microsoft, where he worked for three years. At Microsoft, Butz defined the consumer brand for Microsoft support (Answer Desk) and led the effort to drive adoption, consumption and retention of Microsoft devices and services.
Butz has more than 20 years of experience in customer relationship marketing. Prior to Microsoft, he worked for many years in the telecom industry, leading various marketing efforts for T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T.
He has a Business Administration marketing degree from Colorado State University.
