Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air Offer 'Bloomin' Bargains' Fare Sale
Low fares available for travel through June 10
SEATTLE, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air today launched a "Bloomin' Bargains" fare sale, featuring low fares throughout the carriers' route networks for travel through June 10, 2010. Fares start as low as $49 one way for flights between U.S. West Coast destinations, and as low as $169 to and from Alaska. Low fares also are available to Canada, the U.S. East Coast, Hawaii and Mexico.
"Spring is in the air, and there's no better time for a getaway with these great low fares," said Joe Sprague, Alaska's vice president of marketing. "This sale offers some of our lowest fares for travel on the West Coast, to and from Alaska, and to select leisure destinations in Hawaii and Mexico."
Tickets must be purchased by April 19, 2010, and the fares are valid for travel from April 23 through June 10, 2010. Tickets require a 10-day advance purchase, except for travel to Hawaii and Mexico. Fares are valid only on specific days and at limited times for many cities.

Fare rules: Tickets must be purchased by April 19, 2010, for travel between April 23 and June 10, 2010. A 10-day advance purchase is required, except for travel to and from Hawaii and Mexico. Travel is permitted Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday only, except for travel to and from Hawaii and Mexico and within the state of Alaska, which is valid daily. Travelers are responsible for the following taxes and fees, as applicable: Airport Passenger Facility charges of up to $9 (amount depends on itinerary), U.S. Federal Segment Tax of $3.70 per segment (takeoff and landing) and U.S. Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement. Additional fees apply to travel to Mexico: U.S. Immigration User Fee of $7, U.S. Aphis Fee of $5, U.S. International Transportation Tax of $16.10, Mexico International Departure Tax of up to $33, Mexico Tourism Tax of up to $24, and Mexico Transportation Tax of 4 percent of the fare. Fees may fluctuate with dollar-peso exchange rates. Additional fees apply to travel to Canada: U.S. Immigration User Fee of $7, U.S. Aphis Fee of $5, Canadian Airport Improvement Fee of up to $22 (varies by airport), Canadian Security Fee of $9 (fluctuates with exchange rate) and Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST) of less than $2. Some markets may not operate daily service. Some flights may be operated by or in conjunction with Horizon Air or an alliance partner.
