Alaska Airlines Announces Twice-Daily Service Between Seattle and Salt Lake City
Introductory one-way fares available for as low as $99* for travel through May 31, 2013
SEATTLE , Nov. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Alaska Airlines today announced new twice-daily service between Seattle and Salt Lake City. Year-round flights to the "Crossroads of the West" are scheduled to begin April 4, 2013, and are available for purchase today at www.alaskaair.com or by calling 1-800-ALASKAAIR (800-252-7522 or TTY/TDD line 800-392-0228).
"Salt Lake City represents the largest market out of Seattle that Alaska Airlines does not currently serve and has been a top request of our customers for more than a decade," said Andrew Harrison, Alaska Airlines' vice president of planning and revenue management. "With two daily nonstop flights, our customers will enjoy seamless connections to many destinations through Salt Lake City on our partner Delta Air Lines."

To celebrate the new service, Alaska Airlines is offering one-way fares starting from $99* for tickets purchased by Nov. 8 for travel April 4 to May 31, 2013. Members of Alaska Airlines' Mileage Plan can also earn double miles on the new nonstop flights from April 4 through May 31, 2013. To qualify, customers must first register at www.alaskaair.com.

Alaska Airlines' new flights will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, accommodating 16 passengers in first class and 141 in the main cabin.
