Alaska Airlines announces new seasonal flights from Portland, Oregon to Baltimore, Milwaukee and Philadelphia this summer, and year-round service to Albuquerque
SEATTLE, Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Alaska Airlines is bringing four new markets to customers in the Rose City. New seasonal service will include Portland-Philadelphia starting May 22; Portland-Milwaukee, Wisconsin, starting June 5; and Portland-Baltimore starting June 6. New nonstop service between Portland-Albuquerque will start Aug. 18 and operate year-round.
"We're super excited to launch four new nonstop daily routes from Portland, further enhancing our offerings for our guests in the Rose City," said John Kirby, Alaska's vice president of capacity planning. "At 55 nonstop destinations and counting, we continue to connect our valued Portland customers to the places they want to go."
"We're happy that Alaska is once again expanding its network from PDX with four new service announcements," said David Zielke, Port of Portland director of air service development. "Albuquerque, Baltimore and Philadelphia offer Portland-area travelers more convenient nonstop options. And, until now, Milwaukee was one of the top 10 markets to which Portland didn't have nonstop service. As a University of Wisconsin graduate, I am particularly excited by this new nonstop route. Go Badgers!"
