Akshay Launches SWIFT 7.0 Migration Services

PRINCETON, N.J., Feb. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Akshay Software International, Inc., a SWIFTReady Services Provider, SWIFT Service Bureau, and SWIFT Value Added Reseller today announced the launch of SWIFT 7.0 migration services to customers in North America, the Caribbean, and Asia.

SWIFT released Version 7.0 of its software on January 1, 2011. SWIFT 7.0 is a major and mandatory upgrade that offers SWIFT users significant opportunities to enhance functionality, increase resilience, and simplify operations.

Though most SWIFT users will be moving from 6.0 to 7.0, SWIFT has released 6.2 and 6.3, intermediate versions that contain a significant amount of the functionality that will be new to clients moving from 6.0 to 7.0. "What puts Akshay in a strong position is that we have a considerable amount of experience working with clients on versions 6.2 and 6.3, both as new installations as well as migrations or upgrades from 6.0. Akshay already has live experience with many of the features that will be new to most clients moving to 7.0.," added C.V. Anant of Akshay.
