Akridge Hires Rob Kohn To Lead Capital Markets Efforts

WASHINGTON, March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Akridge, a Washington, DC-based real estate investor, developer, and operator, today announced that Rob Kohn will join the firm as a Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. This addition affirms Akridge's continued commitment to establishing investment vehicles that are responsive to the current needs of institutional capital markets.

Mr. Kohn brings extensive expertise in institutional capital markets with more than 11 years of finance and real estate experience. Mr. Kohn will be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with institutional investors, including programmatic joint ventures, separate accounts, and comingled funds. For the last nine years, Mr. Kohn has raised capital for operating and investment platforms in the United States, Europe, and South America. He was most recently a Partner at Park Madison Partners, a highly regarded New York based real estate placement and advisory firm. Prior to Park Madison, Mr. Kohn was a Partner with Quince Hill Partners where he was responsible for raising institutional capital for real estate investment firms.
