Akerman Senterfitt's Andrea Hartley Elected Chair of ABA Law Practice Management Section
MIAMI, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- During its annual meeting held in San Francisco last week, the American Bar Association (ABA) elected Akerman Senterfitt shareholder Andrea Hartley to serve as Chair of the ABA Law Practice Management Section (LPM). Ms. Hartley has previously served the ABA as Fellow in the Business Law Section, as Chair of the Business Bankruptcy Sub-Committee, and Chair of the ABA Women Rainmakers.
The Law Practice Management Section of the ABA is comprised of 17,000 members and concentrates on information and resources in the core areas of marketing, management, technology, and finance. LPM publishes two magazines, Law Practice and Law Practice Today, and holds networking and continuing education conferences during the year, including the ABA TECHSHOW, ABA Law Firm Marketing Strategies, and the ABA Women Rainmakers Workshop.

She has been a frequent speaker throughout the Unites States on bankruptcy and workout issues before the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, American Bar Association Section of Business Law, Florida Bar Association, and Dade County Bar Association, where she also serves as President-Elect, among other organizations.
