Ajay Singh Named Chief Financial Officer At News America Marketing®
NEW YORK, April 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- News America Marketing (NAM), the premier marketer and influencer for online and offline shoppers in the U.S. and Canada, today announced that Ajay Singh, a News Corp finance veteran, has been named as the company's Chief Financial Officer.
"We are delighted to have Ajay join the News America Marketing team," said Marty Garofalo, CEO, News America Marketing. "He brings both a digital and global perspective to our business which is very important to our future."
As SVP Finance at News Corp, Ajay headed global Financial Planning & Analysis, Management Reporting & Financial Systems. "I'm delighted to be joining this dynamic organization that reaches millions of shoppers every day. This is a pivotal moment for the industry and for marketers everywhere trying to connect with their customers. I see no company better poised than NAM to help brand managers make that connection with their customers across online and offline platforms. I am indeed looking forward to immersing myself into this vibrant business and helping realize its full potential," said Ajay.
Previously, Ajay has served in numerous executive financial roles within digital and traditional media and ecommerce/SaaS businesses. He has substantial hands-on experience in sales & operations management, strategy, M&A and divestitures, and debt funding in the Venture Capital / Private Equity space.
Prior to joining News Corp, Ajay was CFO of HookLogic, Inc. an eCommerce and media technology pioneer, specializing in the retail, travel and automotive sectors. The primary investor in the company was Bain Capital Ventures, the venture arm within Bain Capital.
