AirTran Airways Sweetens Vacation Travel with Low Fares to Montego Bay
- Airline Adds Jamaica Flights to Already Extensive Vacation Destination Network -
ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today launched nonstop service to Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from three locations in the United States: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Orlando International Airport and Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport.
"Developing a robust network of flights to the Caribbean has been a major focus for AirTran Airways recently, so we are very pleased to add Montego Bay to our route map," said Roger Morenc, director of revenue management for AirTran Airways. Nonstop flights to Montego Bay will be available daily from Atlanta and Baltimore/Washington while travelers in Orlando will be able to choose from four flights per week. Additionally, customers in more than 40 cities throughout AirTran's network will have the option of connecting to Jamaica through these three cities.
