ORLANDO, Fla., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today reported traffic for the month of April, 2010. The airline's revenue passenger miles (RPMs), load factor and passengers enplaned represent new all-time company records for the month of April.
For April, traffic grew by 8.1 percent to more than 1.6 billion RPMs and the airline's load factor for the month was 81.9 percent. The airline enplaned more than 2 million passengers for the month, a 4.2 percent increase from April, 2009.
