AirTran Airways' Pilots Successfully Ratify Tentative Agreement
- Five-Year Contract Takes Effect December 1, 2010-
ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 19, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: AAI) announced today the successful ratification of a new collective bargaining agreement with its pilots. The agreement, on which more than 93 percent of the eligible pilots voted, was overwhelmingly approved by 86.9 percent.
The agreement takes effect December 1, 2010, and provides for increased compensation, improved benefits and enhancements to productivity.

The more than 1,700 pilots at AirTran Airways are represented by the Air Line Pilots Association.
