AirTran Airways Offering Double A+ Rewards Credits and Quicker Elite Status on Flights Between Boston and Baltimore

ORLANDO, Fla., March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), announced today that the airline is offering double A+ credits to any A+ Rewards traveler flying between Baltimore and Boston*. As an additional bonus, the extra A+ credits earned from this promotion will also count toward A+ Rewards Elite Membership, which gives customers complimentary Business Class upgrades, higher priority stand-by status, first and second bag fees waived and more.
The double A+ credits promotion applies to flights taken between March 15, 2010, and May 21, 2010. To participate, travelers must sign up for A+ Rewards and register for the promotion online at airtran.com before traveling. Sign up and registration are free.

A+ Rewards members normally earn one A+ Rewards credit for each one-way flight plus a half (0.5) A+ credit bonus for each one-way Business Class flight. Members can redeem eight A+ credits for a one-way coach flight, or 16 A+ credits for a one-way Business Class flight. Doubling the number of A+ credits earned for each one-way flight, A+ Rewards members will have enough A+ credits to redeem for a round-trip coach flight after purchasing just four round-trip flights.

Flight must originate at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) or Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI) with service to nonstop destinations of either BWI or BOS, respectively.
