(NYSE: LUV), launched a fare sale today for travel starting as low as $59 to select domestic destinations. Sale fares are available for purchase today through Nov. 14, 2011, 11:59 p.m. PST, for travel beginning Nov. 14, 2011, through Feb. 14, 2012 (blackout dates apply), with a required 10-day advance purchase.
Travelers may purchase these sale fares at www.airtran.com, from their local travel agent, or via AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN. For reservations in Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.
Examples of these one-way, low fares include (see Fare Rules below):
- $59 one-way between Atlanta and Orlando
- $123 one-way between Boston and Ft. Myers, FL
- $124 one-way between Indianapolis and Orlando
- $177 one-way between Atlanta and Boston

Fare Rules
All fares are one-way. Fares shown do not include Airport Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18 roundtrip. The September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 roundtrip is not included. Fares do not include segment taxes of $3.70 per segment. A segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. All fares are nonrefundable and a $75 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase, plus any applicable increase in airfare. Seats are limited, subject to availability, and may not be available on all flights. 10-day advance purchase required. Fares available for purchase Nov. 1 through Nov. 14, 2011, 11:59 p.m. PST, for travel beginning Nov. 14, 2011, through Feb. 14, 2012. Blackout dates include: Nov. 20, Nov. 23, Nov. 26 through Nov. 28, and Dec. 22, 2011 through Jan. 3, 2012. Travel valid on all days of the week. Fares to/from Asheville, Atlantic City, and Moline/Quad Cities valid for travel until Jan. 6, 2012. A first bag may be checked for a fee of $20 each way and a second bag may be checked for a fee of $25 each way.
