AirTran Airways: Extending the Fiesta From San Antonio to Baltimore and Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla., May 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced new nonstop service from San Antonio International Airport, to Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport and Orlando International Airport on May 27.
"San Antonio residents will now have convenient access to Baltimore and Orlando, major destinations for both business and leisure travelers," said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales for AirTran Airways. "We take pride in our reputation for exceptional service and low fares, and we are excited to expand our offerings for the residents of South-Central Texas."
AirTran Airways began service to San Antonio on June 11, 2008. In addition to these new destinations, the airline also offers direct flights to its hub in Atlanta.
